For example, the silver iPhone 18 Pro Max 256 GB sells for 98,400 TL at one store, while the same model costs 109,840 TL at another. In this guide, we went through the current prices published on the websites of 6 stores in North Cyprus and compared the iPhone 16, 17 and 18 series model by model.
About the prices: All prices were taken from the stores’ official websites on 3 October 2026. Dollars or Lira? How to Compare Prices Correctly
Some stores in North Cyprus publish prices in dollars and others in Turkish lira. Of the stores in this guide, Durmazz and Super Computers price in dollars and the rest in TL. Super Computers notes on its website that its prices are indicative and may change daily because of rapid movements in the dollar rate.
- Always use the same day’s exchange rate when comparing prices.
- If you’ll pay in TL, ask the store which exchange rate it uses.
- When the rate rises, dollar-priced products can become more expensive than TL-priced ones, and vice versa.
Buying an iPhone in Instalments: Telsim's Options
KKTC Telsim offers iPhone models at a cash price and in 3-, 6-, 9- and 12-month instalments. The monthly amounts look attractive at first, but the total paid ends up well above the cash price. Example for the iPhone 17 256 GB:
| Payment option | Monthly instalment | Total paid | Difference vs cash |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cash | – | 57,029 TL | – |
| 3 months | 25,805 TL | 77,415 TL | +36% |
| 6 months | 13,690 TL | 82,140 TL | +44% |
| 9 months | 9,675 TL | 87,075 TL | +53% |
| 12 months | 7,680 TL | 92,160 TL | +62% |
| 12 months, 50% down payment | 28,500 TL down + 4,615 TL | 83,880 TL | +47% |
The other models follow the same pattern. Over 12 months, the iPhone 17 Pro costs 131,700 TL in total (cash: 81,579 TL), and the iPhone 17 Pro Max costs 139,200 TL in total (cash: 86,239 TL). Before choosing instalments, we recommend reading the “Terms”, “Who is eligible?” and “Required documents” sections on Telsim’s website.
KKTCELL also sells phones in instalments on its website. However, because those prices appear in the site’s corporate phone category, we did not compare them in the same table as individual store prices. If you’re thinking of buying from KKTCELL, ask the operator directly which price applies to you.
What Is an "Activated" iPhone, and Is It Worth Buying?
Durmazz sells some iPhone 18 models at a lower price under the label “Active”. According to the store’s description, these are devices whose box has already been opened or which have already been activated. Their physical condition and box contents are complete, and Durmazz gives a 1-year store warranty from the date of purchase. However, Apple’s international warranty starts from the device’s first activation date.
The saving is significant:
- iPhone 18 Pro 256 GB: the activated device is $150 (≈7,377 TL) cheaper.
- iPhone 18 Pro Max 256 GB: the activated device is $250 (≈12,295 TL) cheaper.
Before buying an activated iPhone, ask for its activation date and how much of Apple’s warranty remains. Also confirm the phone’s registration status in North Cyprus; for details on the process, see our guide to phone registration in Northern Cyprus.
What to Check When Choosing a Store
- Stock: on the date we checked, many models or colours were out of stock. The lowest price may belong to a product that isn’t available.
- Colour: even for the same model and storage, the colour can change the price.
- Warranty: ask how long the warranty is and where repairs are done. For example, Sharaf Store’s website states a 2-year warranty, and Super Computers states that Apple faults covered by warranty are repaired by Apple Authorised Service.
- Registration: find out whether the phone is registered in North Cyprus before you buy.
- Receipt: always get and keep your receipt, for the warranty and for any future resale.

Is a Used iPhone a Better Choice?
If brand-new iPhone prices stretch your budget, a used iPhone can be a good alternative. In listings on Pazar Kıbrıs, sellers usually state whether the device is registered in North Cyprus and its battery health percentage. These two details should be among your main criteria when comparing.
To make sure you don’t skip checks such as the IMEI, iCloud lock, screen and camera, read our guide to things to check before buying a used phone. You can find current listings on our mobile phone and tablet listings page.
Build Your Budget by Selling Your Old Phone
Selling your old phone before buying a new iPhone is one of the most practical ways to cover the difference. You can list your phone for free in the mobile phones and tablets section of Pazar Kıbrıs. Stating the registration status, battery health and condition clearly in your listing helps it attract interest faster.
